Mona Aboelnaga Kanaan is managing partner of K6 Investments, a New York City- based private investment firm she founded in 2011 to take advantage of global investment opportunities in Financial Services, Technology, and Consumer Products. An experienced CEO and private equity investor, Mona also serves on the boards of Sterling Bancorp (NYSE: STL), Perpetual Limited (ASX: PPT) and FinTech Acquisition Corp VI (NASDAQ: FTVI). Committed to financial inclusion and corporate responsibility, she is a member of the Advisory Boards of C Street Advisory as well as Ibancar, a European based FinTech providing consumer lending products.

A serial entrepreneur, Ms. Aboelnaga Kanaan founded Proctor Investment Managers in 2002 and was an early mover in the GP Stakes investment sector. Taking it from start up to $14 billion in Affiliate Assets under Management, she sold the business to National Bank of Canada in 2006 and stayed on as CEO until 2013.

With a strong passion for inclusive education, healthcare and public policy, Ms. Aboelnaga Kanaan is a Trustee of the Fashion Institute of Technology, The Chapin School and International House as well as Vice Chair of Wharton Club New York’s Equality Task Force and a member of the Capital Campaign Council for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Council on Foreign Relations.
